Pay Rate: $70,000–$85,000/year; Based on experience
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY /Onsite
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Education: Associate degree or combination of 1–3 years of relevant work experience and education in accounting, finance, economics, or mathematics
Experience: At least 2 years ofinvestment and retirement plan experience
Licenses: FINRASeries 7 and 63; NY Life Accident and Health License
Systems: CRM systems, retirement plan recordkeeping platforms, Microsoft Office/Excel; Envestnet experience is a plus
Our client is seeking aRetirement Plan Associate to provide exceptionalclient service and advisor support while helping ensure efficient and organized investment and retirement plan operations. This role serves as a key liaison betweenfinancial advisors, retirement plan sponsors, participants, clients, custodians, recordkeepers, and service providers.
Responsibilities of the Retirement Plan Associate will include:
- Foster strongclient relationships and deliver a positive, concierge-style client experience.
- Processinvestment transactions, take client trade orders, and execute trades.
- Initiatemoney movements and open new accounts.
- Serve as theprimary point of contact for retirement plan clients.
- Supportretirement plan onboarding, conversions, and implementation.
- Coordinate withrecordkeepers, third-party administrators (TPAs), custodians, and other service providers to ensure timely and accurate plan administration.
- Maintain client records and documentation in accordance with firm and regulatory standards.
- Coordinateemployee education meetings, enrollment campaigns, and financial wellness programs.
- Support participant service requests and direct participants to appropriate resources.
- Prepare materials forannual plan reviews and fiduciary committee meetings.
- Meet regularly with internal team members to review and manage open cases.
- Take on additional projects as assigned.
Qualifications for the role of Retirement Plan Associate:
- Minimum of anAssociate degree, or a combination of1–3 years of relevant experience and education with a concentration in accounting, finance, economics, or mathematics.
- 2+ years of investment and retirement plan experience required.
- Experience withCRM systems and retirement plan recordkeeping platforms.
- Stronganalytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability toprioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Excellentverbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
- Ability to workindependently and as part of a team while taking initiative.
- Commitment to professional and ethical standards and maintainingclient confidentiality.
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses andNY Life Accident and Health License.
- Strong computer skills, particularlyMicrosoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Report-writing experience required; familiarity with theEnvestnet Trading platform is a plus.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
