About the role
Our client is hiring an Investment Analyst in Lahore to support investment decisions through financial modelling, valuation, feasibility studies, and market research. You'll work closely with the Senior Investment Analyst on live deals, project economics, and materials for senior leadership and the Board.
What you'll do
Financial modelling and valuation
Build and maintain integrated three-statement models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) with clear, documented assumptions
Run returns analysis (unlevered and levered IRR, MOIC, payback) against hurdle criteria
Value businesses and projects using DCF, trading comparables, and precedent transactions
Support deal structuring by modelling equity/debt mixes, earn-outs, deferred consideration, and optimal capital structure for projects
Feasibility studies and business cases
Prepare feasibility studies and business cases covering market sizing, demand, revenue build-up, capex/opex, staffing, and project economics
Build project cash-flow models and assess viability, breakeven, and key risks
Execution and data support
Populate, update, and format models to the Senior Investment Analyst's templates
Gather, clean, and verify data from internal and external sources, with accuracy checks and tie-outs
Maintain deal and research trackers, document logs, and data room files
Investment papers and reporting
Help draft investment and project briefs and supporting analysis
Help prepare presentation materials for the GCEO, Board, and shareholders
Market and sector research
Turn industry reports, news, databases, and regulatory publications into clear, decision-useful outputs
Produce sector deep-dives and market sizing (TAM/SAM, CAGR), map value chains, key players, competitors, and targets, and track sector trends
What you'll bring
2 to 3 years in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, corporate development, or project/infrastructure finance
Hands-on financial modelling and feasibility work, including live M&A, PE, JV, or project-finance deals
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field from a reputable university
Advanced Excel, financial modelling, and valuation (3-statement, IRR/MOIC, DCF, comps, precedents, feasibility models)
Strong PowerPoint and written communication
Nice to have CA/ACCA, CFA Level 1 or higher, MBA, or a Master's in Finance
