We are celebrating 50+Â years of service to the Centre region!

Summary:
- Support individuals with Intellectual disabilities,physical disabilities and/or mental health challenges in a group home setting
- Shadow Program Manager in day-to-day operations of residential group home
- Internship opportunities are unpaid
Â
Organization Expectations:
- Be interested in assisting individuals with disabilities, co-existing medical conditions and mental health challenges
- Must be flexible regarding availability and schedule
- Ability to work as a team member and actively participate in all daily routines is essential

Job Responsibilities:
The position is in a 24 hour residential program.
Must be able to work flexible hours to meet individual and programming needs.
Hours include mornings, days, and evenings, together with weekends, holidays and breaks.
Â
Physical demand:
Ability to exert moderate physical activity (i.e., transferring, bending, twisting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, repetitive lifting, and pushing in miscellaneous activities with individuals and in overall maintenance to the house). Â

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Criminal background check required
- Professional and Personal references required
- Must have exceptional communication skills in interactions with consumers, staff, families, and the community.
