The Claims & Internal Advisor manages, writes, tracks, and communicates with guests regarding certain warranty claims for their vehicles, facilitates the claims work with our vendors, and manages, writes, and tracks vehicles for Reconditioning, PDI, and Inventory in a fast-paced environment. Must be a highly motivated self-starter with an emphasis on individual accountability. Process driven. Relationship driven. Must have a positive mindset and be solution-oriented. Responsible for communicating, allocating work, and supervising a team of (or individual) Technicians and Porters to ensure efficient and productive team performance and a compliant vehicle process. The Claims & Internal Advisor influences the sales and service business volume and plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless internal processes and highly positive customer satisfaction.
A Claims & Internal Advisor is responsible for the efficient and timely processing of vehicle warranty claims, new car intake processes, and ensuring healthy turnaround times for our guests and staff, alike.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for all internal repair orders written for new car intake PDIs, as well as various claims and other repair orders including but not limited to accessory modification.
- Liaise with parts / service team for timely vehicle completion.
- Create a comprehensive estimate based on their vehicle's inspections and technician findings.
- Keep appropriate management team informed of all issues that do, or may arise.
- Inspect repair quality and ensure all work is completed in a timely manner, emphasizing that work is completed right the first time, or fixed right the first time.
- Ensure the best parts options and the correct price for parts and labor is used for all work.
- Ensure vehicle guidelines are followed, and consistent with OEM and CAG Standards.
- Manage the Claims Reconditioning Vendor relationships, to improve quality and cycle time.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customer, co-workers, and suppliers/vendors.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Properly close tickets.
- Be organized. Be on time. Be positive.
Requirements:
- Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered.
Schedule:
- This is a full-time position.
Shift is 7AM - 4PM Monday - Friday and OFF on weekends
Compensation:
- $20 per clock hour
