Job Description
TheProject Engineer II is responsible for planning, implementing, and delivering technology solutions that meet client requirements while ensuring high-quality project execution. This role independently manages standard infrastructure projects, collaborates with internal teams and clients, and produces accurate project documentation to support long-term operational success. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset. Â
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of client technology projects while meeting project scope, quality standards, and delivery timelines. Â
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot infrastructure technologies including servers, networking, cloud platforms, firewalls, wireless solutions, and endpoint management systems. Â
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients throughout project planning, implementation, and handoff. Â
- Produce accurate implementation notes, as-built documentation, and knowledge base articles. Â
- Identify process improvements and recommend updates to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base documentation. Â
- Proactively identify technical risks and resolve implementation issues to ensure project success. Â
- Provide technical guidance during project execution and share knowledge with peers. Â
- Ensure completed solutions meet client expectations and support long-term operational stability.Â
Job Qualifications
Required QualificationsÂ
- 3–5 years of experience implementing and supporting IT infrastructure projects. Â
- Experience working with distributed or remote teams. Â
- Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting servers, networking, cloud platforms, endpoints, and infrastructure technologies. Â
- Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting or project-based environment. Â
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Â
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Â
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills. Â

Job KPI’sÂ
- Billable Utilization: The percentage of time spent on billable client project work while maintaining accurate time entries.Â
- Project Delivery: Successful completion of assigned projects within agreed timelines, scope, and quality standards.Â
- Documentation Quality: Accuracy and completeness of implementation notes, as-built documentation, and knowledge base updates for completed projects.Â
- Client Satisfaction (CSAT): Feedback provided by clients through post-project or service satisfaction surveys.Â
- Timesheet Compliance: Timely and accurate submission of timesheets in accordance with company standards.Â
Job Requirements
- A home office set up that meets the following:
- Computer: A working computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM and one of the following:
- Windows 11 with an Intel i5 or i7 (8th generation or newer), or
- AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 (2000 series or newer), or
- macOS 12 or newer.
- Internet: Stable internet connection with at least 5 Mbps download and upload speeds.
- Audio Equipment: A quality headset with a noise-cancellation feature for meetings.
- Mobile Device: A smartphone capable of installing the Microsoft Authenticator app.
- Webcam: An HD webcam for video calls.
- 2nd MonitorÂ
- UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) if using a desktop (Not needed if using a laptop)
- A very strong cultural fit the ITS way (Our core values will be discussed during the interview)Â
- Excellent command of the English language both spoken and writtenÂ
- Able to work full time for 40 hrs. a week:Â 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST (Monday to Friday)
- Able to pass our online behavior and cognitive assessments.Â
- Preferably, at least two of the following certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, 3cx Basic Certified Engineer.
- Able to provide NBI Clearance (for PH applicants).
Compensation
Pay rates start at$18.28/hour and vary by experience and location.
