Instructional Aide, Avery Elementary

Primary Objective:Under the direction of the building principal, assist certified staff in supporting students; monitor and report student progress.

Essential Functions:

• Assist teachers with instruction of individual and small groups of students in the classroom
• Assist counselors in their support of students
• Assist with building supervision including but not limited to hallway, lunch, and recess
• Other duties as assigned

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of (60) sixty college hours

Experience:1-3 years of job-related experience is required

Certification:Missouri teacher certification and/or substitute teacher certification preferred

Hours of Employment: 8-hour shift

Base Pay: $17.91/hourly
