Inspector II (On-site)

We are seeking a Quality Inspector for our client in Aiken, South Carolina. In this role, you will inspect machined and welded parts against blueprint requirements, perform scheduled calibrations, and support quality audits on the shop floor.

• Inspect parts using measurement tools and a coordinate measuring machine (CMM).
• Calibrate measurement instruments and document results for compliance and traceability.
• Work with engineers and technical staff to resolve gage and measurement issues.
• Maintain calibration tools and supplies, and recommend equipment upgrades.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience.
• Experience with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, scales, and height gages.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints.
• Knowledge of calibration standards, measurement principles, and quality control procedures, including NIST and ISO requirements.
• Hands-on experience with calibration equipment, electronic test equipment, and related software.
• Availability to support both day and weekend shifts.

Preferred: CMM experience; knowledge of GD&T or weld inspection; and experience with a Faro Arm, laser tracker, or Keyence equipment.
