InPost’s extensive OOH network supports rapidly growing parcel volumes across its markets,with 1.4 billion parcels delivered in 2025. Its locker solutions offer consumers a delivery option that is cheaper, more flexible and convenient, environmentally friendly and contactless. We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer in Test to raise the quality bar across our mobile app and backend domain - not by writing more tests, but by changing how the whole domain thinks about quality. This is a hands-on technical leadership role at the intersection of QA and mobile development, driving a native-first testing strategy and a culture where developers own quality rather than hand it off.

Your scope of work will cover 3 areas.

I. Test strategy & native automation

  • Design and own the test strategy across mobile teams for nativeiOS (Swift/SwiftUI) andAndroid (Kotlin) apps.
  • Set strategy fordevice and OS-version fragmentation coverage and driveflakiness control at scale, running suites onBrowserStack withGitLab CI.
  • Keep thebackend/API/contract layer strong and connect it to the mobile client layer.
  • Own quality gates inside app release and store-deployment pipelines, and drive resolution of quality issues that cross team boundaries within the domain.

II. Coaching, culture & technical leadership

  • Pair on testability, shift quality ownership left into the dev workflow, and be the person teams seek outbefore implementation starts.
  • Mentor Senior Software Engineers in Test, accelerating real, visible growth, and provide technical guidance across the domain.
  • Runknowledge-sharing across QA and Dev: tech talks, workshops, reusable documentation, pair sessions; co-lead theOneTech/QA community.
  • Co-shape the domain's technical quality direction with the SEM, with full autonomy within the domain, and analyze quality trends from reports/metrics to identify improvement areas.
  • Definequality metrics and gates and use them to frame quality risk in business terms for EMs, SEMs, and PMs.

III. AI Governance in testing

  • Define the AI adoption approach for quality engineering in the domain - which tools, which workflows.
  • Design AI-assisted testing workflows and set governance and data-security standards across teams.
  • Assess and manage the risk of AI usage in testing (including production-facing work), not just the productivity upside.
  • Mentor engineers on responsible, effective AI use and report on AI ROI for quality engineering.

Must-have

  • Strong experience automatingmobile app tests natively (iOS or Android - ideally both), with real, working-levelSwift and/or Kotlin.
  • A track recorddesigning test strategy / the test pyramid - not just executing on someone else's plan.
  • Provenshift-left experience - entering the process before coding and measurably changing the outcome.
  • Experienceleading technical/process change and working directly with development teams.
  • Experience in introducing mock-based testing - setting the standards and education
  • Proven impactbeyond a single team - standards set for multiple teams, or a cross-team quality initiative led.
  • A hands-on, critical relationship withAI - using it and assessing its risks, not just its benefits.
  • FluentEnglish; fluentPolish.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience withBrowserStack andCI/CD (GitLab).
  • Snapshot testing experience (e.g., swift-snapshot-testing, Paparazzi).
  • Familiarity withAppium - useful for understanding what we're migrating away from.
  • Experience applyingAI in testing workflows (we're building skills to support the migration).
  • Experience in thelogistics or e-commerce industry.
  • ISTQB Advanced Level - Test Automation Engineer certification.
