Product Manager - Data Platform (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a Data Platform Product Manager who combines product thinking with a strong understanding of cloud technologies, FinOps and Data Platform operations. In this role, you will drive the evolution of a modern data platform and enable scalable, secure and cost-efficient data capabilities across the organization.

What you'll do

• Define and execute the technical roadmap for thedata platform.
• Drive the development of cloud-based data environments acrossAzure, Databricks and related technologies.
• Ensure platformscalability, reliability, security andoperational excellence.
• LeadFinOps initiatives, cloud cost optimization and budgeting processes.
• Implement and improve DevOps/DataOps practices,CI/CD pipelines andInfrastructure as Code standards.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and coordinate procurement activities.
• Oversee contracts, SLAs, licensing, purchase orders and invoice validation processes.
• Collaborate closely with Data, AI, Engineering, Finance and Business stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience managing adata platform ortechnical product.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks,Azure Data Services or similar cloud data ecosystems.
• Practical knowledge ofFinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Experience withDevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with technology vendors, contracts and procurement processes.
• Understanding of budgeting, purchase orders and financial governance processes.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with Data Mesh, Data Governance or Lakehouse architecture.
• Azure, FinOps or Product Management certifications.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, dbt or Atlan.
• Familiarity with GDPR, AI Act and modern data governance standards.
