Inpatient Psychiatrist

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for inpatient populations
• Manage and monitor patient treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and follow-up coordination
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving mental health outcomes
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and best practices in psychiatric care

Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care
