Your role and work environment:

 

We are looking for a talented and enthusiasticFinancial Crime Prevention Expert – Business Banking (BuBA)to join ourCOE Team of theFinancial Crime Prevention Tribe.

 

The responsibility of this team is to drive the end‑to‑end design and continuous improvement of Financial Crime Prevention processes, ensuring that regulatory requirements are translated into clear, scalable standards and controls.

Within this context, this role will bekey for the successful expansion of ING Spain into the Business Banking segment, being responsible for theeffective implementation, adaptation and ongoing ownership of existing FCP processes in the BuBA environment. The role will act as theFCP COE reference for Business Banking, ensuring alignment with ING standards while addressing the specific risks and operational realities of corporate and business clients.

You will work closely with Compliance, Operations, IT, Business, and Global stakeholders to ensure a robust, consistent and regulator‑ready implementation of FCP controls for BuBA.

 

Your key responsibilities:

 

As a Financial Crime Prevention Expertyou will:

 

Positively contribute to:

•The end‑to‑end implementation and embedding of FCP processes in the Business Banking segment, ensuring alignment with local regulation and ING global standards.
•The effective management of financial‑crime risks for business and corporate clients, ensuring FCP requirements are consistently understood and applied across all BuBA journeys and products.

Co‑create:

•The implementation of FCP solutions together with Operations, IT, Compliance, Business and Global teams, ensuring scalable and pragmatic outcomes.
•The identification and resolution of process gaps, operational risks and control deficiencies, including the definition of target operating models for BuBA FCP activities.

Ensure

•The proper execution, governance and continuous improvement of FCP processes in Business Banking.
•Alignment between local BuBA implementation, global FCP frameworks and business‑as‑usual documentation and controls.

Financial Crime Prevention frameworks, preferably within banking or financial services.

KYC/CDD and EDD processes for business or corporate clients.

AML/CTF regulations and supervisory expectations, ideally in a Spanish and/or European context.

Process governance, risk management and control design.

 

Is a master of:

Translating regulatory and policy requirements into operational processes.

Managing complexity and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Identifying risks, proposing solutions and driving effective implementation.

Taking ownership and accountability for end‑to‑end outcomes.

 

Loves to:

Work as a team, taking advantage of his strong communication skills.

En este contexto, este rol será clave para la expansión exitosa de ING España en el segmento de Business Banking, siendo responsable de la implementación efectiva, la adaptación y la titularidad continua de los procesos FCP existentes en el entorno BuBA. El rol actuará como referencia del COE de FCP para Business Banking, asegurando la alineación con los estándares de ING y abordando al mismo tiempo los riesgos específicos y las realidades operativas de los clientes corporativos y de empresas.
Trabajarás en estrecha colaboración con Compliance, Operations, IT, Business y stakeholders globales para garantizar una implementación sólida, coherente y preparada para el regulador de los controles FCP para BuBA.
Tus principales responsabilidades:
Como Financial Crime Prevention Expert deberás:
Contribuir positivamente a:
•La implementación end‑to‑end y la integración de los procesos FCP en el segmento de Business Banking, asegurando la alineación con la normativa local y los estándares globales de ING.
•La gestión eficaz de los riesgos de crimen financiero para clientes empresariales y corporativos, garantizando que los requisitos FCP se entienden y aplican de forma consistente en todos los journeys y productos de BuBA.
Co‑crear:
•La implementación de soluciones FCP junto con los equipos de Operations, IT, Compliance, Business y Global, asegurando resultados escalables y pragmáticos.
•La identificación y resolución de gaps de proceso, riesgos operativos y deficiencias de control, incluida la definición de modelos operativos objetivo para las actividades FCP de BuBA.
Asegurar:
•La correcta ejecución, gobernanza y mejora continua de los procesos FCP en Business Banking.
•La alineación entre la implementación local de BuBA, los frameworks globales de FCP y la documentación y controles de business‑as‑usual.

Frameworks de Financial Crime Prevention, preferiblemente en banca o servicios financieros.

Gobernanza de procesos, gestión de riesgos y diseño de controles.
Es experto/a en:
Traducir requisitos regulatorios y de políticas en procesos operativos.
Gestionar la complejidad y coordinar a múltiples stakeholders.
Identificar riesgos, proponer soluciones e impulsar una implementación eficaz.
Asumir la responsabilidad y la rendición de cuentas sobre resultados end‑to‑end.
