Information Security Manager

The Information Security Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Baghdad. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s information security framework, policies, and procedures. Daily tasks include assessing security risks, monitoring systems for threats, coordinating incident response, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The Information Security Manager will work closely with IT, operations, and leadership teams to secure BeePay’s payment infrastructure, protect customer data, and support secure product development. The role also involves conducting security awareness training, managing audits, and recommending improvements to strengthen overall security posture.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Information Security Management and Information Security, with the ability to define and enforce security policies and governance.

• Experience implementing and maintaining an Information Security Management System (ISMS), including risk assessment, controls, and continuous improvement.

• Proficiency in Cybersecurity practices such as threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.

• Hands-on experience with Network Security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure network design.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM...etc.

• Knowledge of payment systems, fintech, or financial services regulatory requirements

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate complex security concepts clearly, and lead security initiatives end-to-end.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security risks.
