Job OverviewÂ
The Global Procure to Pay (P2P) Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end procure-to-pay process, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment operations. This role ensures efficient, compliant, and cost-effective P2P operations while driving process improvements and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This position will report to the Director of Global Shared Services.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Procure to Pay Operations ManagementÂ
- Manage vendor invoice intake, approval workflows, validation, coding, and processingÂ
- Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments while optimizing cash flowÂ
- Monitor and manage payment terms, early payment discounts, and vendor payment schedulesÂ
- Manage all aspects of employee expense reimbursement processesÂ
Vendor & Supplier ManagementÂ
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliersÂ
- Manage vendor onboarding, setup, and master data maintenanceÂ
- Negotiate payment terms and resolve vendor disputesÂ
- Oversee vendor communication regarding payment inquiries and issues, ensuring prompt and appropriate responses to queriesÂ
- Maintain vendor compliance with company policies and contractual obligationsÂ
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier consolidation effortsÂ
Compliance & ControlsÂ
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement guidelines, and financial controlsÂ
- Maintain SOX compliance for P2P processes and internal controlsÂ
- Implement and monitor segregation of duties and approval hierarchiesÂ
- Manage audit requirements and support internal/external auditsÂ
- Ensure tax compliance including 1099 reporting and VAT/GST requirementsÂ
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all transactionsÂ
- Monitor and prevent duplicate payments and fraud risksÂ
Process Improvement & AutomationÂ
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costsÂ
- Drive automation initiatives including e-invoicing, workflow automation, and touchless processingÂ
- Develop and document standard operating procedures and best practicesÂ
- Lead P2P system implementations, upgrades, and optimization projectsÂ
- Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor P2P performanceÂ
- Champion digital transformation initiatives within the P2P functionÂ
Team Leadership & DevelopmentÂ
- Lead, mentor, and develop P2P team members Â
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedbackÂ
- Manage workload distribution and resource allocationÂ
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellenceÂ
- Provide training on P2P systems, policies, and proceduresÂ
Reporting & AnalyticsÂ
- Prepare and analyze P2P metrics including cycle times, processing costs, and accuracy ratesÂ
- Generate reports on spending patterns, vendor performance, and payment analyticsÂ
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesÂ
- Provide accrual reporting and analysis for outstanding liabilitiesÂ
- Monitor aging reports and resolve outstanding itemsÂ
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities with spend data and analysisÂ
Stakeholder ManagementÂ
- Partner with procurement, finance, operations, and business unitsÂ
- Serve as primary point of contact for P2P-related inquiriesÂ
Education & CertificationÂ
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fieldÂ
- Professional certifications preferred (e.g., Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP)Â
ExperienceÂ
- 15+ years of progressive experience in procure-to-pay, accounts payable, or procurement operationsÂ
- Minimum 10 years in a management or supervisory roleÂ
- Experience managing end-to-end P2P processes in a large multi-national organizationÂ
- Background in process improvement and automation initiativesÂ
- Experience with ERP system implementations or upgradesÂ
- Public company or highly regulated industry experience preferredÂ
Technical SkillsÂ
- Expert knowledge of P2P processes, best practices, and controlsÂ
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, etc.)Â
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysisÂ
- Understanding of accounting principles and general ledger integrationÂ
- Knowledge of e-procurement and e-invoicing technologies, including global compliance requirements for indirect taxÂ

The salary range for this role is $90k- $130k based on experience plus up to 10% annual bonus based on performance
