The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries, performing monthly account reconciliations, and supporting the month-end close process. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to the foundational accounting processes of a high-growth company and directly influence our path to becoming a public entity.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.Â
- Perform detailed monthly account reconciliations and investigate and resolve all reconciling items in a timely manner.Â
- Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure all deadlines are met and financial data is complete and accurate.Â
- Conduct financial statement analysis to identify trends and variances, providing insights to the accounting and finance leadership team.Â
- Collaborate with the Technical Accounting Manager and Director of Financial Reporting to implement new accounting policies and treatments.Â
- Serve as a key liaison to other departments, assisting with operational questions and providing accounting guidance on business transactions.Â
- Support the preparation of audit schedules and act as a key point of contact for external auditor requests during the annual audit.Â
- Assist in documenting and improving internal controls and processes to meet Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance standards.Â
- Provide ad hoc analysis and support to the broader accounting and finance team as needed.Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA or CPA candidate is strongly preferred.Â
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a mix of public accounting and industry experience.Â
- Prior experience in a public company setting or with IPO readiness is highly preferred.Â
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting.Â
- Demonstrated experience with monthly close processes, account reconciliations, and journal entry preparation.Â
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Â
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.Â
- Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is highly preferred.Â
The targeted salary range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000 depending on experience, plus eligibility to participate in our annual incentive plan. In addition to your base compensation, we offer a generous Total Rewards program which includes:Â
