Silicon Labs is looking for an Application Engineer to join its Application Engineering team. The team serves as a bridge between customers and the R&D organization by creating user guides and peripheral and application example code. It also actively supports customers throughout the entire product development lifecycle from initial planning and design through development and, finally, certification.Â

What You will do:Â
In this role you will be working with our cutting-edge 32-bit Wireless MCU products and different embedded SoC, PCB and SiP modules.Â
You will have a direct impact on the success of our 32-bit Wireless MCU platform with helping our customers as they design and build connected systems.Â
Here is what your daily role will look like:Â
- Actively help customers on their design and development activitiesÂ
- Create code examples, application notes, quick start guides for wireless applicationsÂ
- Collaborate with IC design, software engineering and marketing teams on product evaluations and new product definitionÂ
Mastery needed for success in this role:Â
BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering/Computer ScienceÂ
C programming skills on embedded systemsÂ
Experience with embedded systems, RF modulations, usage of oscilloscope and spectrum analyzerÂ
Written and verbal communication skills in EnglishÂ
We consider the following experience as a plus:Â
Hands-On experience with board-level circuit design and testing involving high-frequency circuitries, and low-cost antennasÂ
Experience in PCB schematic entry and layout design (Cadence and/or Altium preferred)Â
Experience with wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth LE/Mesh, Zigbee, IEEE 802.15.4) Â

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between Ft7,078,400 - Ft13,145,600. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location where work will be performed and applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
