NATURE MANAGER

This Nature Manager supports the delivery of AIGCC’s Nature and Land Use workstream, with a focus on advancing investor understanding and integration of nature-related risks and opportunities across Asia.

The role willlead priority projects and support investor engagement on key nature and land use issues, particularly in high-impact sectors.
This position involves close collaboration with AIGCC’s network of domestic and international institutional investors, as well as engagement with policymakers, industry stakeholders, and partners. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Investor Capacity Building :Lead the planning and delivery of the Nature and Land Use Working Group and related masterclasses,facilitating peer exchange among investors to strengthen the integration of nature risks and stewardship practices.Identify priority themes and translate insights into practical, actionable outputs for members

Policy Engagement:Lead the design and delivery of strategic engagements with policymakers and key stakeholders, including through policy roundtables, to incorporate investor perspectives into the development of nature and land use policies in the region

Investor Engagement :Build andmaintain strong relationships with key global and domestic investors toidentify the gaps and AIGCC support for investors on relevant nature-related theme

Stewardship Research & Analysis :Lead and author sectoral and company-level research reports to assess the financial materiality of nature-related risks and opportunities, supporting investor decision-making and stewardship in high-impact sectors across Asia

Program Delivery & Reporting :Support the preparation of funder reports and program updates, ensuringtimely, high-quality delivery aligned with projectobjectives and reporting requirements.

Content Development & Communications:Develop high-quality content for AIGCC outputs, including member briefings, research publications, case studies, and other communications materials, asrequired

External Representation :Represent AIGCC in relevant external forums, events, and stakeholder engagements to promote AIGCC’s work and support market-building efforts on nature and land use.  

SELECTION CRITERIA:

• Bachelor’s degree inEconomics, Environmental or Sustainability Studies, or related field;Master’s degree, MBA, or CFA is an advantage
  

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience across sectors such as food and agriculture, consulting, international organizations, think tanks, or financial institutions, with demonstrated expertise in nature-related investment research, sustainable finance, ESG, or stakeholder engagement; experience in investment analysis is considered an advantage.
  

• Strong understanding of nature-related risks and land use issues challenges in Asia
  

• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including policymakers and/or institutional investors in Southeast or East Asia
  

• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects and coordinate across geographies, time zones, and stakeholder groups
  

• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills, with the ability to translate technical topics into practical, investor-relevant insights
  

• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experiencefacilitating discussions and stakeholder engagement
  

• Fluent written and spoken English;additional Asian language skills are an advantage
  

• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-growing organization  

Desirable

• Familiarity with frameworks such as RSPO, TNFD, or related sustainability standards for natur
  

• Experience in investor stewardship, ESG integration, or sustainable finance
