What You’ll Do:

We are seeking an experiencedProduct Owner – Mobile & Web Platformsto own and drive the development, enhancement, and continuous improvement of IC Markets' trader-facing mobile and web platforms. This role has a strong focus on the trading experience, therefore a solid background in Forex, CFDs, and online trading platforms is essential. The Product Owner will be responsible for translating product strategy and business objectives into a clear roadmap, prioritised backlog, and well-defined requirements for Engineering and QA teams. The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of trader behaviour, trading workflows, and the end-to-end trading lifecycle, as well as how trading platforms integrate with the broader brokerage ecosystem.

What We’re Looking For:

• Own and manage the product roadmap and backlog for the mobile application and web trading platform.
• Translate product strategy, trading requirements, and client needs into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
• Work closely with Product Management to convert strategic priorities into executable initiatives for Engineering teams.
• Drive the development and continuous improvement of core trading capabilities across mobile and web, including:

            -> Market watch and instruments

            -> Charts and technical indicators

            -> Order placement and execution

            -> Open positions and pending orders

            -> Stop Loss and Take Profit functionality

            -> Trading history and account activity

            -> Pricing and market data

            -> Account and portfolio information

            -> Trading notifications and alerts

• Ensure a consistent and high-quality trading experience across mobile and web platforms.
• Understand trader behaviour and identify opportunities to improve trading workflows, usability, platform performance, and client engagement.
• Work closely with Trading and technical teams on requirements related to order execution, pricing, instruments, trading conditions, and platform behaviour.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Business Analysts, UX/UI, Compliance, and other Product teams throughout the full product development lifecycle.
• Lead backlog refinement and prioritisation, ensuring requirements are clear, complete, and ready for development.
• Manage product dependencies and integrations with other systems, including Trading Platform Infrastructure, Client Area, CRM, Back Office, Payments, KYC/onboarding, and reporting systems.
• Understand and support integrations with trading technologies such as MT4/MT5, DxTrade, cTrader, ICTrade, and proprietary trading services.
• Partner with UX/UI and Product Design teams to continuously improve the trader experience across mobile and web.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis across leading Forex, CFD, and multi-asset trading platforms.
• Analyze platform usage, trading behaviour, feature adoption, and client feedback to support prioritisation and product decisions.
• Define and track product KPIs covering engagement, trading activity, feature adoption, platform stability, and customer experience.
• Participate in UAT, release readiness, and production validation of new features.
• Ensure regulatory and entity-specific requirements are incorporated into product functionality where applicable.
• Maintain clear and structured product documentation in Jira and Confluence.
• Proactively identify product risks, dependencies, delivery blockers, and customer experience issues.
• Use AI and LLM-based tools where appropriate to support product research, requirements analysis, documentation, and delivery while complying with company confidentiality and data-handling requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar product role within Forex, CFDs, online trading, or fintech.
• Strong practical understanding of Forex and CFD trading is essential.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and trader behaviour.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end trading lifecycle, including:

          ->Order types and order management

           ->Market and limit orders

           ->Stop Loss and Take Profit

           ->Positions, exposure, and trading history

           ->Pricing and market data

           ->Spreads, leverage, and margin

           ->Order execution and trading platform behaviour

• Experience working with mobile and web trading platforms.
• Hands-on knowledge of trading platforms such as MT4/MT5, DxTrade, cTrader, ICTrade, or other proprietary platforms.
• Experience defining product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing complex product backlogs.
• Experience working with APIs, system integrations, and interconnected platforms.
• Good understanding of the broader Forex/CFD brokerage ecosystem, including Client Area, CRM, Back Office, KYC, payments, and trading infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use product data and trader feedback to support prioritisation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and trading/business stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence.
• Awareness of regulatory frameworks relevant to Forex/CFD brokers, including FSA, ASIC, CySEC, and MiFID II.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on product quality, platform reliability, and trader experience.

Working Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 17:00 (Hybrid Model; 3 days from the office, 2 days from home)
