Please note that while this role is under the Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital structure, its scope is focused on supporting Cardinal Glennon Pediatrics primary clinics and medical group offices across the St. Louis Region from Troy, MO to Maryville, IL. It requires a tactical operator who can balance strategic growth with financial and clinical oversight.

Job Summary:

Directs clinic and/or hospital sites and operations. Develops specific goals, standards and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the clinic and/or hospital.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans for new and expanded services.
  • Assesses quality of and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other providers.
  • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management.
  • Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment and payroll.
  • Monitors budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of education and experience


EXPERIENCE

  • Three years' management experience, with three years' in leadership

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
