Thefinance assistantwill providesupport the clerical financial support for the program team. S/he willbe responsible formaintaining the financial documents,handle bankingtransactions , scanning,photocopying , referencing,facilitate payment preparation and check/letters signing andperform other financial and administrative issues. 

  • Maintain and organize paper and digital document archives for quick retrieval during audits or reconciliations. 

  • Label and store monthly transactiondocuments, box files, and financial records systematically. 

  • Scan, Copy, and archive financial documents, filings, and bank statements according to organizational standards. 

  • Handleand managing Bank transfers. 

  • Handle routine banking tasks, including depositing cash/checks, delivering bank letters, and collecting bank statements and Bank advice on time.

  • Collect all bank transfer advice andfillingin the correspondingfinancialdocuments. 

  • Assist with tracking vendor invoices and bankadvice 

  • Respond to basic routine requestsregarding Bank transfers from internal staff and external vendorsregarding payment statuses. 

  • Retrieve files andsupporting vouchers for internal or external audit  

  • Perform general clerical tasks such as photocopying, printing, binding, and scanning 

  • Organize andfiling financial documents on monthly basis 

  • Responsible forfollow-upall payment processing workflows andmaintaining direct communication with banking partners to prevent transfer delays. 

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Degree Accounting, Management, Business Administration, or related field with at least0-2years of experience 

  • Excellent communication and computer skills 

  • Experience working with International NGOs and donors such asDOS is preferred 

  • Fluency in English and Amharic isrequired 

  • Ability and willingness to travel.  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft packages.

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently
