Job Summary

This is a high-impact, autonomous role for a seasoned sales professional who thrives on owning the entire revenue cycle. This digital marketing agency, a leader within the automotive and collision repair sectors, is poised for aggressive expansion into new verticals. We are looking for a "hunter" who combines strategic depth with a relentless drive to build a pipeline from scratch. You will not just be closing deals; you will be a key architect of the agency’s growth, identifying new market opportunities, cultivating long-term referral partnerships, and leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to scale your impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research high-potential clients through multi-channel outreach, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Own the full sales lifecycle, from initial cold outreach and discovery to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Lead deep-dive discovery calls to uncover prospect pain points and articulate tailored marketing solutions that drive ROI.
  • Manage and maintain a meticulous pipeline within HubSpot, ensuring accurate forecasting and high data integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with the Growth & Revenue Director to align sales strategies with the agency’s expansion goals.
  • Facilitate seamless handoffs to the delivery team post-close, acting as the client’s internal advocate to ensure long-term satisfaction.
  • Build and nurture a network of referral partners and complementary agencies to diversify lead sources.
  • Actively integrate AI tools into the sales workflow to enhance productivity and outreach personalization.
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, specifically within a digital marketing agency or a closely related professional services environment.
  • Proven track record of full-cycle sales ownership, with documented success in meeting or exceeding revenue quotas.
  • Mastery of the discovery process, with the ability to move beyond generic pitching to value-based selling.
  • Advanced proficiency in HubSpot CRM (or equivalent) with a disciplined approach to pipeline management.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of commanding a room and tailoring messages to business owners.
  • A proactive approach to technology, with genuine comfort and experience using AI tools to optimize sales workflows.
  • South African based with a focus on regional market dynamics.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience selling retainer-based or recurring revenue service models.
  • Familiarity with the automotive aftermarket or collision repair industries.
  • Background in developing or executing Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for new territories or verticals.
