Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Accounts Payable team within the SSC, ensuring high performance and service quality
- Oversee end-to-end AP processes, including invoice processing, payment runs, vendor management, and expense handling
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices in line with internal controls and SLA/KPI targets
- Monitor and improve AP KPIs (e.g., invoice cycle time, payment accuracy, exception rates)
- Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN, automation, digitalization)
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, and audit requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities related to AP
- Act as key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Support ERP system enhancements and AP-related system implementations
- Develop, coach, and motivate team members, ensuring succession planning and capability building
- Participate in SSC transformation and transition projects where applicable
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Accounts Payable, including at least 2–3 years in a managerial role within SSC or shared services environment
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end AP processes and internal controls
- Experience working with ERP systems SAP S4 Hana, JD Edwards, Coupa
- Proven track record in process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial compliance requirements
- Strong leadership and people management skills in a multicultural environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Fluent English and Polish
- Experience in a multi-country or multinational environment preferred
