Job Role: Digital Marketing Executive

Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $2,500 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule:This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 4 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Role Overview: We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join an Australian-based digital marketing agency. This hands-on role is suited to someone passionate about paid advertising, SEO, reporting, and strategy, with a focus on delivering measurable results.

You will work closely with the team to manage campaigns, analyse performance, and identify opportunities to improve client outcomes through smart strategy, strong execution, and continuous optimisation.

The successful contractor is expected to have the capacity to provide approximately 38 hours of services per week and maintain reasonable availability during the agency's core business hours to support collaboration and client delivery.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Build, manage, and optimise Google Ads and Meta advertising campaigns
  • Read campaign performance and implement impactful changes without supervision.
    • Be capable of changing Meta campaign videos and ads based on your own optimization ideas, track the changes and if they worked weekly
    • Be capable of optimizing Google ad campaigns anytime leads slow down - have plenty of ideas you can implement to improve leads/sales across many accounts 
    • Create and test ad copy and creative ideas to improve results while updating internal systems (ASANA) so the team can see the changes too 
    • Draft emails to clients explaining changes and ideas for our happiness manager or advertising manager to send 
  • Support SEO activities, including content, on-page, and technical optimization following SE Ranking optimizations and your own backlinking or SEO tech optimizations 
  • Design and build website pages on WordPress & Shopify - read our strategy directors strategy, look at the homepage design then be able to build other pages of the website based off this
    • Receive feedback and implement it without mistakes or supervision 
  • Manage day-to-day tasks across multiple client accounts
  • Collaborate with the directors on campaign strategy and improvements
  • Draft emails for clients in a friendly, helpful, and on brand manner (we are warm, friendly, professional) 
  • Understand policy and use it as the foundation of all work 
  • Graphic design in CANVA and Lightroom for social media posts/ads and be confident in using Meta Creator Studio for posts and Meta Ad Manager for advertising.  

  • A marketing, communications, or related degree (or equivalent hands-on experience)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Ads and/or Meta Ads Manager
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with SEO
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with design on CANVA 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data & implement fixes 
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with copywriting in English for Australian audiences 
  • Experience managing multiple campaigns or client accounts
  • Strong communication skills with a warm and approachable style
  • Ability to build positive client relationships and provide clear guidance
  • Curious mindset with a genuine drive to learn, improve, and achieve better results

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
