QC Inspector - Welding- Qatar

We are looking for an experiencedQC Inspector – Welding for a reputedcontracting company involved inRefinery, Petrochemical, and Fertilizer projects in Qatar.

Position Details

• Position: QC Inspector – Welding

• Location: Qatar

• Employment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based

Candidate Requirements

✅ Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
✅8–9 years of relevant experience
✅CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2.1 – Mandatory
✅ Strong experience insteel fabrication projects
✅ Experience withshutdown & turnaround projects preferred
✅ Gulf experience will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

✔ Inspect welding activities forpiping, structural steel, and storage tanks
✔ Review and verifyWPS, PQR, WQT
✔ Monitor welding, fit-up, joint preparation, and consumables
✔ Coordinate and witnessNDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT)
✔ Ensure compliance withASME / API / AWS codes & project specifications
✔ Prepare and maintainQA/QC reports, inspection records, and dossiers
✔ HandleNCRs and follow up on corrective actions
✔ Coordinate withclient and third-party inspectors
