Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experiencedSolar PV Expert / Technical Advisor to support large-scale renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across project development, design evaluation, performance analysis, and risk assessment for utility-scale solar PV plants. This role requires strong expertise in solar technologies, engineering analysis, and financial/technical decision support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadtechnical due diligence for utility-scale solar PV projects during development and execution phases

  • Review and validatesystem design, engineering layouts, and single-line diagrams (SLDs)

  • Conductenergy yield assessments and performance simulations using industry-standard tools

  • Evaluate and recommendPV technologies, modules, inverters, and balance-of-system (BOS) components

  • Performrisk assessment and technical advisory for investment and EPC decisions

  • Support project teams indesign optimization and cost-performance balancing

  • Analyze and benchmarkLCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy) and project feasibility

  • Provide expert input oncontractor technical submissions and vendor evaluations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including EPC, procurement, and project finance

  • Ensure compliance with internationalsolar standards and best engineering practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelorā€™s / Masterā€™s degree inRenewable Energy / Electrical Engineering or related field

  • 12ā€“20 years of total professional experience

  • Minimum8ā€“15 years in utility-scale Solar PV projects


Technical Skills

  • PV design & simulation tools:PVsyst, Helioscope, HOMER Pro, MATLAB

  • Strong understanding ofsolar PV system design, grid integration, and performance modeling

  • Knowledge ofenergy modeling, shading analysis, and system optimization

  • Understanding offinancial modeling and LCOE analysis


Certifications (Preferred)

  • NABCEP Certification

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)

  • Chartered Engineer (CEng)


Key Competencies

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking

  • Ability to evaluate large-scale renewable energy investments

  • Excellent understanding of technical and financial trade-offs

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Decision-making in high-value infrastructure projects
