Supervisor, Laboratory - Moses Taylor Campus

Position Purpose:

The Supervisor in conjunction with the Administrative Director is responsible for planning, budgeting, developing, coordinating and evaluating all aspects within the Laboratory and Blood Bank departments. Maintain close working relationships and open communication with staff, hospital administration and medical staff. The Supervisor will evaluate and implement appropriate certifications by regulatory agencies.

Position Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related science field preferred.

·  Qualified as a general supervisor based on CLIA’88 requirements.

·  Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a medical laboratory required.

·  Previous supervisory experience with proven leadership abilities. Supervisory skills and technical expertise.

·  Must be able to relate to patients from newborn to geriatric.
