The Opportunity
As aPresales Solution Architect – Salesforce, you’ll act as thetechnical seller and trusted advisor in strategic enterprise engagements across Salesforce’s ecosystem — includingSales, Service, Marketing, Experience, and Data Clouds.
You’ll partner closely with Horizontal’s sales and delivery teams tolead pre-sales,define cross-cloud architectures, andtranslate business objectives into scalable Salesforce solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
You’ll balance50% sales and strategy with50% technical delivery oversight, owning and co-ordinating the full solution lifecycle frompre-sale to client success.
What You’ll Do
- Leadsolution design during new business pursuits, working hand-in-hand with Sales to shape deals and position Horizontal as the preferred Salesforce partner.
- Translate complex business challenges intocross-cloud Salesforce solutions (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, Data, Analytics, and Industry Clouds).
- Conductdiscovery and architecture workshops with C-level and senior stakeholders, identifying transformation opportunities and value realization paths.
- Crafttechnical solution narratives and visual architectures for RFPs and client presentations.
- Clearly articulateHorizontal Digital’s Salesforce capabilities, offerings, and differentiators through demos, proposals, and proof-of-concepts.
- Support go-to-market (GTM) campaigns and practice growth throughthought leadership and enablement on emerging Salesforce technologies.
- Serve as abridge between pre-sales and delivery, ensuring the proposed architecture is achievable, scalable, and outcome-driven.
- Collaborate with Technical Architects, Data Architects, and Integration teams to align solution components and reduce risk.
- Guide clients throughbest practices, balancing innovation with operational stability.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of client-facing consulting and/or pre-sales experience in the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Proven track record insolutioning and selling multi-cloud Salesforce transformations (Marketing Cloud, Sales/Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, CRM Analytics, etc.).
- Strongbusiness acumen with the ability to engage C-level executives in outcome-driven discussions.
- Salesforce certifications acrossSales, Service, or Marketing Cloud (Consultant or Architect level preferred).
- Strong communication skills — capable of simplifying technical complexity and telling compelling solution stories.
- Entrepreneurial mindset — proactive, adaptable, and energized by fast-paced, high-impact client work.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
