Equipment Manager

Summary: Manages and maintains all tools, equipment, vehicles and stored materials. This position has some mobility between the office, storage yards, off-site storage facilities, job sites, and vendor locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tools and Equipment:
  • Maintain full inventory list of all tools and equipment owned by HPS, where they are located, which employees have them checked out, service and maintenance schedule, purchase records and warranty records.
  • Purchase replacements as needed with approved purchase orders.
  • Purchase consumable parts for tools and equipment as needed (blades, filters, gaskets, etc.)
  • Maintain tool and equipment cleanliness and operability, perform routine testing.
  • Maintain storage sheds and storage yard.
• Vehicles:
  • Maintain service records on all vehicles
  • Maintain insurance and DMV records on all vehicles
  • Perform weekly audits on all vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and service needs
  • Perform exterior cleaning on all vehicles at set intervals, or as needed
• Materials:
  • Maintain inventory records of all stock materials, re-stock as needed
  • Receive orders and storage of project materials
  • Maintain office water, toiletries, snacks, and drinks
• Deliveries:
  • Deliver tools, equipment and materials to job sites as requested
  • Pick up materials from suppliers, deliver to job sites or office
  • Deliver and pick up plans from print shops and customer properties
• Safety:
  • Sends out weekly safety topics for employee review
  • Maintains safety supplies and audits tools and equipment for safety issues
  • Audit job sites and document safety status

• Computer-based organization skills, primarily excel documents
• Hands-on skills using basic construction tools and equipment
• Motivated to work, self-starter attitude.
• Independently resourceful problem solver, with team-focused results.

Qualifications:

• Bi-lingual English/Spanish
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
