What you'll do...
Role summary:The Manager, Supply Planning, leads the development and execution of replenishment strategies by leveraging data analytics and cross-functional collaboration to optimize inventory and supply chain performance. This role requires strategic decision-making informed by customer behavior, financial insights, and industry trends to drive operational efficiency and supplier performance. The position fosters strong business partnerships and ensures alignment across merchandising, finance, and operations teams to address supply challenges and enhance overall network capacity. The manager also champions continuous improvement and digital tool adoption to support sustainable business growth and deliver value to customers.
About the team:
The Beer Supply Planning team ensures product availability by driving strong in-stock performance and maintaining inventory health across Sam’s Club. Collaborating closely with merchants, suppliers, distributors, and cross-functional partners, the team supports everyday demand, seasonal changes, and new item launches. The role involves balancing a localized distributor network with market-specific needs while continuously enhancing planning, communication, and execution processes. This dynamic environment requires expertise in supply chain management, data analysis, financial oversight, and strategic decision-making to deliver efficient and effective supply planning solutions.
What you'll do:
- Analyze merchandise sales data and industry trends to inform supply planning decisions and optimize inventory levels.
- Develop and execute replenishment plans in collaboration with Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
- Monitor supplier performance, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions to ensure supply reliability and efficiency.
- Leverage digital tools and data analytics to identify root causes of supply issues and drive continuous process improvements.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners to align strategies and resolve operational challenges.
- Support financial planning by analyzing profit and loss impacts related to supply and inventory management.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in supply chain management and replenishment planning to optimize inventory and operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data analysis tools for business performance evaluation and strategic decision making.
- Experience in financial management, including profit and loss analysis and developing business cases for cost savings.
- Ability to manage supplier performance through effective communication and corrective action implementation.
- Skilled in business partnering, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams to drive results.
- Proficient in digital literacy and advanced statistical methods to support data-driven planning and insights.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
