AtHome Instead Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Wem,we are recruitingWeekend Care Professionals to support clients in their own homes across our local area, withflexible weekend working options includingevery other weekend to support a healthy work–life balance.

This position requires reliable local travel between client visits, so applications are invited from candidates living within our immediate service area only.

You will provide practical support and companionship, including:

  • Companionship and emotional reassurance

  • Personal care support and daily routines

  • Medication prompts/support (where required)

  • Mobility support and assistance with outings

  • Meal preparation and light household tasks

Training and development

No experience is required — full training is provided. You will complete a structured induction and ongoing learning, with the option to undertakeaccredited training in Dementia Care and End of Life Care. We also provide financial and educational support towards recognised Health & Social Care qualifications.

Pay and benefits

  • £12.60 - £13.60 per hour (higher rates available with completed NVQ levels)

  • ALSO - Paid travel and wait time as well as 35p per mile mileage.
