Client Description

We are looking for an experienced live in caregiver to support our client. She will be 100 soon and loves to live independently. She needs someone who will spend time to get to know her and her likes and dislikes. She wants to be respected and listened to and her wishes taken into account. The daily duties involve personal care, companionship, meal preparation and light housework. You must have experience of working with frail clients especially at the stage where they perhaps begin to lose some of their independence and know how to deal with the anxiety this causes. She will like to go out from time to time and if you can encourage and organise this, it will be much appreciated. The client receives her morning and evening in bed when you will be supported by one of our hourly caregivers, the rest of the day client is in the lounge and mobilises independently or with support.
