Job Description
The live-in Care Professional will stay with the client 24/7 and will need to perform theÂ
below mentioned services .
Companionship Services :
• Offer companionship and conversation.
• Stimulate and encourage through a variety of activities (for example clothing selection,Â
hobbies, and crafts)
• Accompany to appointments and social events (for example visiting friends or family,Â
lunch, club meetings)
Home Help Services :
• Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changingÂ
linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, washing and ironing, taking out rubbish, caring forÂ
houseplants etc.)
• Organise and tidy cupboards, check food expiry dates and shopping .
• Knowledge about good food safety and ability to cook healthy good Italian food mealsÂ
from raw ingredients.
Personal Care :
• Help with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with continence care.
• Consider and understand the point of view of the person with Dementia/Alzheimer
• Assist with Morning and Evening routine
Essential Criteria :
• Ability to listen, communicate clearly and build relationships with clients and theirÂ
families in a friendly and pleasant manner.
• Respect for people with different backgrounds and beliefs to your own and who mayÂ
have a range of medical conditions. Commitment to non-discriminatory care practice
• Excellent timekeeper who is organised and reliable.
• Good hygiene practice, including personal hygiene and a smart appearance.
• This role will require you to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure from the relevant body.
• Class 1 business insurance (if using own car for business purposes) or reliableÂ
transport.

• Resident in UK
• All Right to Work documents available.
