Male Live-In Care Professional – £130 per day
Location: Taunton, Somerset | Shift: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off

The Role:
Provide compassionate, round‑the‑clock care to an elderly gentleman living in the beautiful Somerset countryside on a 40-acre property. You’ll offer personal care, companionship, medication reminders, cooking assistance, housekeeping, and emotional support. You’ll also help care for a beloved elderly terrier.
Ideal Candidate:Essential:
- A valid Category B driving license is a genuine occupational requirement for this role due to the need to travel between remote sites where public transport is unavailable.
- DBS on the Update Service
- You have the right to work in the UK
- Level 4 English and IT literate
- Dementia experience(including sundowningwould be advantageous)
- Minimum of3 years’ experience of providing care for the elderly in their own home
- Male carer asthis is a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010, due to the nature of the intimate support services provided to female service users
