Home Care Assistant

AtHome Instead Leek & Moorlands we offer support to individuals living in their own home. We have a range of contracts at present that involve visiting clients inMatlock, Bakewell and the surrounding area. We are looking for someone reliable, friendly and caring to make a difference to our clients' lives. You must have flexibility to workalternate weekends.No experience required - just a friendly personality and the right values.

At Home Instead we haveminimum 1-hour calls plus suitable travel time to ensure you are not rushed with clients, withmileage reimbursement. We work tomatch our Care Professionals and clients together somemorable connections can be established. All initial calls with a client who is new to you will be introductions with the support of another colleague, so you can reallyget to know your client and their needs.

This is a part-time role. We are looking for individuals who live in Ashbourne with availability to work 3 days per week, plus holiday and sickness cover. This will include alternate weekends.

Responsibilities as a Domiciliary Support Worker:

• Offeringwarmth and care during visits.
• Enhance the home atmosphere by aiding in lighthousehold chores andmeal preparations.
• Help clientscherish their time with you, sharing inactivities such as reading or watching favourite TV shows.
• Support withpersonal care tasks such as showering, washing hair, and getting changed.
• Taking clients out to places of their choice e.g. the local shops.
• Ensure transparentcommunication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care andcomfort.

Requirements:

• Experience is not required; we offer comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience either professional or personal is an advantage.
• You must have a fulldriver's licence anddependable transportation for various duties.
• You must bereliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
• Must have acaring, friendly disposition to create lasting relationships.
