Care Assistant-Part time

We’re looking forkind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults in their own homes in theDeal, Sandwich & Dover, Kent area.

We are abrand-new office in the local community, and we’re looking for caring individuals who genuinely want tomake a difference and be part of something new and exciting.

This is apart-time role with flexible shift options:

• Morning shifts: 07:00 – 14:00
• Afternoon shifts: 14:00 – 21:00
  Shifts are availableMonday to Friday, withalternate weekends required.

Hours will vary as we build up our client base, but if you’re looking to be part of somethingnew, exciting, and growing, then we’re the team for you.

Job Description

Care as it should be — unhurried, personal, rewarding.

At Home Instead, our visits are at least an hour long. No rushing, just real, meaningful care that makes a genuine difference to someone's day. 

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be supporting older adults with things like:

• personal care and mobility
• Preparing meals and hot drinks
• Light household tasks to keep their home safe and comfortable
• Companionship, conversation and a friendly face
• Some visits may include more personal health-related support — we provide full paid training for all of this, so no experience or medical background is needed

No Experience? No Problem!

You don’t need previous care experience — we’ll train, support, and cheer you on from day one.

We’re looking for people with the right values and attitude. For example:

• Have you cared for a loved one or supported a family member?
• Are you someone who can chat easily and make others feel at ease?
• Do you enjoy helping people and making a difference in someone’s day?

Hours:

Hours will vary whilst we build our client base, with a mix of:

• Morning shifts: 07:00–14:00

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

• Right to work in the UK
• Full driving licence and access to a car
• Clear English and good communication skills
• A warm, patient and caring nature
