You will lead incident management efforts, reduce MTTR through automation and observability, and partner with global stakeholders during US office hours. A key aspect of this role includes designing and operationalizing GenAI use cases using AWS Bedrock and SageMaker (mandatory) while ensuring secure, governed usage.
This is a highly ownership-driven role requiring technical leadership, mentoring, and continuous improvement of platform engineering practices.
Requirements:
- Lead end-to-endincident triage, troubleshooting, and resolution acrossEC2, S3, SSM, IAM, ECS, Lambda, Step Function, SCPs, SSO, VPC, RDS, AWS AI Services, and ECS environments
- Design and implementplatform reliability improvements through automation, monitoring, and architectural optimizations
- Build and maintainautomation solutions (Python/Powershell) to eliminate manual tasks and enable self-healing workflows
- EnforceAWS security best practices including IAM least privilege, credential hygiene, and periodic access reviews
- Troubleshoot and optimizeECS/container workloads, including scaling, networking, and performance tuning
- LeverageAWS Systems Manager (SSM) for fleet management, patching, remote execution, and automation
- Manage and governS3 storage including lifecycle policies, encryption, access controls, and data protection standards
- Design, implement, and operationalizeAWS Bedrock use cases including prompt workflows, guardrails, secure access, and monitoring
- Enhanceobservability through logs, metrics, and traces; tune alerts and build actionable dashboards
- Drivechange management, release governance, and post-incident reviews with clear documentation and outcomes
- Collaborate closely withUS-based stakeholders during overlapping business hours for operations and escalations
- Participate in and leadon-call rotations, handling P1/P2 incidents and ensuring timely resolution
- Mentor junior engineers, review solutions, and drivebest practices in platform engineering and operations
- Continuously identify and deliver improvements that increasedeployment success rate, platform stability, and operational efficiency
Preferences:
- 6–8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure/platform engineering, with strong AWS exposure
- Provenhands-on troubleshooting expertise across EC2, S3, SSM, IAM, ECS, Lambda, Step Function, SCPs, SSO, VPC, RDS, AWS AI Services
- Mandatory: Experience withAWS Bedrock (implementation, operations, or GenAI integration)
- Mandatory: Strongautomation experience(Python, Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Solid understanding ofIAM, security best practices, and cloud governance
- Experience withobservability tools (CloudWatch or equivalent logging/monitoring platforms)
- Strong collaboration skills, especially working withdistributed/global teams
