You will be part of a dedicated on-site team supporting one of our live warehouse automation installations, combining electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and robotics expertise to keep operations running smoothly. 
 
What You'll Do 
 
Maintain and Optimise Automated Systems 
 
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on robots, conveyors, machines and automated warehouse systems. 
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and uptime. 
• Support the continuous operation of Exotec's robotic solutions. 
 
Troubleshoot Technical Issues 
 
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical and automation-related faults. 
• Conduct effective fault-finding and root cause analysis. 
• Escalate complex issues when required and collaborate on solutions. 
 
Support Installations and Deployments 
 
• Participate in the installation and deployment of Exotec systems. 
• Assist with commissioning activities and integration of new equipment. 
• Ensure systems are operating according to performance expectations.
 
Deliver Customer-Focused Support 
 
• Work closely with site teams to maintain high service levels. 
• Respond rapidly to operational incidents and equipment breakdowns. 
• Contribute to a safe and efficient warehouse environment. 
 
Collaborate and Improve 
 
• Partner with fellow technicians and cross-functional teams. 
• Share technical knowledge and best practices. 
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system optimisation

• 2-3 years of experience in industrial, electrical, automation or maintenance environments. 
• Strong electrical maintenance and troubleshooting skills. 
• Good mechanical maintenance knowledge. 
• Experience working with industrial machinery, automated systems or robotics. 
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities. 
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
• Willingness to work on-site and participate in shift patterns, including night shifts during peak periods. 
 
Nice to Have 
 
• Experience with robotics or warehouse automation systems. 
• Knowledge of conveyors, material handling or distribution centre equipment. 
• Experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, drives or industrial control systems. 
• Background in logistics, manufacturing, automation or intralogistics environments. 
• Relevant UK electrical qualifications or certifications.

• Working Pattern: Morning and afternoon shifts 
• Travel: Primarily site-based with no significant travel currently expected 
• Team Size: 6-person on-site maintenance team supporting a major customer operation.
