Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Test Engineer (HE) to join our dynamic team at Hitachi, Ltd. This role will involve designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our hardware products.
Job Responsibilities**
* Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and cases for new and existing hardware products.
* Execute various types of tests, including functional, performance, reliability, and stress tests.
* Analyze test results, identify defects, and report issues to development teams using bug tracking systems.
* Collaborate with hardware design engineers, software engineers, and product managers to understand product requirements and ensure testability.
* Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
* Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on hardware architecture and testability.
* Document test procedures, results, and technical specifications thoroughly.
* Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in hardware testing.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Proven experience in hardware testing and quality assurance.
* Strong understanding of hardware components, circuits, and system architecture.
* Experience with various testing methodologies and tools.
* Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for test automation.
* Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, etc.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Experience with embedded systems testing is a plus.ular
