Job description

Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer for HV JR CR Testing to join our team at Hitachi, Ltd. This role involves assisting with the planning, execution, and analysis of high-voltage (HV) testing, as well as junior-level support for control and relay (CR) systems.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Assist senior engineers in the preparation of test plans and procedures for high-voltage equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, and switchgear.
* Support the execution of HV tests, including insulation resistance, dielectric strength, partial discharge, and other relevant tests, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
* Record and analyze test data, identifying anomalies and potential issues.
* Assist in the calibration and maintenance of HV test equipment.
* Perform basic diagnostic checks and troubleshooting on control and relay systems.
* Support the documentation of test results and preparation of technical reports.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
* Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
* Participate in training and development activities to enhance technical skills.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Basic understanding of high-voltage principles and safety procedures.
* Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and measurement techniques.
* Knowledge of control and relay systems fundamentals is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
