The Opportunity
Be part ofHitachi Energy’s R&D Technology community and contribute to shaping a more sustainable energy future. This role is based at ourZaragoza (Spain) R&D center, a key hub fordry-type transformer technologies, uniquely positioned close tomanufacturing and testing teams.
AsR&D Project Manager, you will lead innovation-driven projects focused onperformance, reliability, and competitiveness of dry-type distribution transformers. You will work in ahighly collaborative, international environment, partnering withglobal R&D, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and testing teams.
This is a role for someone who thrives inexecution, enjoys working close to the product, and can connecttechnical development with project delivery excellence. You will continuously develop your skills inproject management, stakeholder coordination, and R&D methodologies.
How you’ll make an impact
Leadend-to-end R&D projects from planning to delivery.
Ensurescope, timing, budget, and quality targets are achieved.
Contribute to thedefinition and validation of new technologies and product improvements.
Coordinate requirements withengineering, manufacturing, testing, quality, and global R&D teams.
Enable effectivecross-functional and international collaboration.
Maintainproject schedules, cost sheets, technical files, and reports.
Managerisks, changes, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Act as aclear and reliable communication partner for all stakeholders.
Your background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inElectrical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Experience inproject management within industrial, engineering, or R&D environments.
Solid knowledge or strong interest intransformers or electrical products.
Experience usingproject management tools and methodologies (e.g. MS Project, Agile principles).
Strongcommunication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
