The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will formulate competitive bids/estimates/quotations, considering best available product mixand appropriate technical and commercial considerations for each individual situation and ensure tenders are well documented in a timely manner and with appropriate level of detail,including full and accurate costs.

2. You will manage the preparation of all technical (e.g., defining the most suitable technology andproduct type(s)), financial (e.g., total price sheet, cash flow analysis) and if necessary,project management (e.g. quantifies hours of engineering and commissioning) aspects of thebid/estimate/quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.

3.In accordance with bid/estimate/quotation planning, you will ensures that inputs for editing activitiesare provided on time and according to established quality procedures. Manages externalservices to support bid/estimation preparation such as translations and governmentalapprovals.

4. You will collect and archive documentation regarding the offer/order and records assumptions anddecisions taken during the development process. Regularly reports the status of thebids/estimates/quotations using defined tools and collects and analyses the reasons fortenders being lost and won.
5. You will identify potential risks in the bids, quotations, and estimates, and in any related contractagreements across customers/channels. Provides information and/or participates in the RiskReview process in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy and be responsible for collecting and collating all information needed to prepare the proposal,including both technical and cost elements.
6. You will establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process. Provides anynecessary technical support to Sales Managers during technical meetings with customers also identifies potential vendors for equipment and materials required in the project andtechnically evaluates supplier offers to check match with specifications. Collaborates withSupply Chain Management to coordinate requests to subcontractors.

7.You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a minimum Bachelor’s degree or above, major of Electrical or Automation is preferred.
2. More than 2 years in related working experience.
3. Able to work under pressure and willing to take challenges.
4. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
5.CET-6 and above, fluent in both writing and oral.
