The opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivatedDigital Solution Architect to help shape, design, and deliver end‑to‑end digital solutions that support a stronger, greener power grid and contribute to a more sustainable future. You will be responsible for defining robust, secure, and scalable architectures, translating business and operational needs into technical solutions that deliver measurable value. The role focuses oncutting‑edge software applications operating at the intersection of IT and OT, enabling seamless integration between enterprise systems, operational technologies, and field assets.

How you’ll make an impact

• Collaborate withbusiness stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to determinefunctional and non‑functional requirements for new applications and platform capabilities. Define and ownend‑to‑end solution and application architectures across the full software development lifecycle. Use appropriate tools and methodologies to createarchitecture approaches, reference architectures, and implementation proposals, mapping business and operational needs to technical solutions.

• Guide development teams throughout thesoftware development lifecycle, ensuring architectural intent, design principles, and standards are consistently applied. Successfully communicatearchitectural concepts, design decisions, and trade‑offs to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Ensure software solutions meetquality, security, performance, scalability, availability, and modularity requirements.

• Promoteplatform‑oriented and reuse‑driven architectures, reducing duplication and enabling faster time‑to‑market. Design and governcloud‑native and microservices‑based architectures, supportingSaaS, on‑premise, and hybrid deployment models.

• Embedsecure software development lifecycle principles and ensure security‑by‑design across applications and integrations. Assume a leadership role inadopting new technologies, executing proof‑of‑concept activities and guiding their evaluation and production readiness.

• Drive and supportAI‑enabled capabilities, such as intelligent recommendations, analytics, and AI‑assisted quality and automation solutions, ensuring enterprise‑grade adoption. Ensurearchitecture documentation is comprehensive, accurate, versioned, and maintained across releases.

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• Required bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Computer Science, IT, Electrical, or related field) with minimum8+ years of proven experience insolution or application architecture, software development, and enterprise systems. Strong knowledge ofsoftware and application design principles, object‑oriented programming, and architectural patterns.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and engineering best practices. Knowledge ofsoftware quality assurance principles and secure software development lifecycle practices.

• Familiarity withUML and architecture modeling techniques, with a proven track record in producing high‑quality architectural documentation. Hands‑on experience insoftware development and coding, using technologies such asC#/.NET, Java, Angular/React; experience withNodeJS or Python is a plus.

• Excellent understanding ofweb‑based and cloud technologies. Hands‑on experience withmicroservices and REST APIs, containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience withdata management systems, includingSQL and NoSQL databases, and messaging/event‑driven architectures.

• Familiarity withauthentication, authorization, and SSO concepts (e.g., OAuth, OpenID Connect) and cross‑cutting concerns such aslogging and monitoring. Strong knowledge ofLinux operating systems, scripting, networking fundamentals, VPNs, and firewall concepts. Experience withcloud computing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

• Experience withagile development methodologies, testing frameworks, unit testing, and test automation. Exposure toDevOps practices, tools, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, infrastructure as code, automation tools). Strongorganizational and leadership skills, with a technical mindset and attention to detail. Big‑picture, customer‑focused problem‑solving abilities. Technical mindset and great attention to details.

• Excellentcommunication and presentation skills. Proficiency inEnglish, both written and spoken. Ability to work in an agile and collaborative team environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication skills with the ability to interact with global stakeholders. Proven ability to take ownership and deliver tasks independently.
