The opportunity
We are seeking a structured and detail-oriented Administrative Support professional to join Hitachi Energy. In this role, you will provide broad administrative support across multiple departments, contributing to efficient and well-functioning daily operations.
You will collaborate with colleagues across the organization and handle a variety of administrative tasks in a dynamic, international environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into business operations while developing your organizational and communication skills within a global company.
How you’ll make an impact
- Assist HUB Europe controllers in different tasks related to reporting of financial results.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, including room bookings, and technology setup.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents with precision.
- Assist with data entry, record keeping, and database management.
- Provide general administrative support to various teams and projects as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding confidentiality and data security.
Your background
- Experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a corporate environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organization and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Knowledge of office equipment and basic troubleshooting.
- A relevant vocational diploma or equivalent work experience is preferred
