About HireGummy
We are a Sydney-owned, founder-led remote staffing company. We place pre-vetted remote specialists with SMEs in Australia and the US. We sell a service, not a product, and we are scaling fast. We need someone who can take full ownership of our Meta ads and treat our budget like it is their own.
What this role is
We are looking for a Meta ads specialist to take over our paid social end to end. You run the strategy, the research, the setup, the optimisation and the reporting. Our in-house marketer designs the creatives, but based on your direction. You tell them what you need and why. Everything else on the ads side sits with you.
This is for someone who has run B2B ads before, specifically for service-based businesses, and can prove it. If your experience is mostly ecommerce or product, this is not the right fit.
What you will own
- Market and audience research before we spend a dollar
- A clear upfront plan outlining targets, budget allocation, and what success looks like
- Full campaign setup, targeting and structure in Meta Ads Manager
- Writing ad copy and iterating on it based on performance
- Briefing our in-house marketer on creative requirements (you direct, they design)
- Daily monitoring and active optimisation of live campaigns
- Replacing underperforming creatives and copy based on data and experience
- Clear weekly reporting on the targets: what is happening and what to expect next
How we work together
You meet our marketing team twice a week. These calls are to walk us through the process, show what is live, what is working, and what is coming. We want visibility, not micromanagement. Outside those calls you are running the show.
What you must include in your application
Applications without these will not be reviewed:
- A Loom video walking us through active accounts you currently manage. We want to see real service-based business accounts, not a slide deck.
- In that video, show us the actual numbers: CPL, monthly budget, and number of leads generated each month.
- A short note on the kind of service businesses you have run ads for.
We are looking for a vast, real portfolio. The Loom is how you prove it.
You are a strong fit if
- You have deep experience running Meta ads for service-based businesses
- You can show results, not just describe them
- You think in CPL and lead quality, not vanity metrics
- You are comfortable owning a budget and being accountable for it
- You communicate clearly and turn data into decisions fast
Compensation
Project-based monthly engagement. Rate discussed based on experience and the accounts you have managed.
