IT Project Manager

from 🇨🇴 Colombia

We are looking for anIT Project Manager to keep complex technical initiatives organized, visible, and moving inside a fast-moving technology organization. You will partner with engineering, IT, security, and operations stakeholders across workstreams including identity, security, internal platforms, device management, vendor integrations, and compliance readiness.

This is not a technical execution role and it is not a passive scheduling role. You will own the project management layer: clarifying scope, tracking owners and timelines, documenting decisions, following up on open items, surfacing blockers, and keeping stakeholders aligned. If you can turn messy workstreams into clear plans, write crisp updates that make status and next steps easy to understand, and follow through without being chased, this role is a strong fit.

Why You'll Want to Join

  • You will be paid inUSD (bi-monthly: every 15th and 30th)
  • Paid Time Off in accordance with company policy
  • Observance ofHolidays per company guidelines
  • 100% remote setup so you can work wherever you're most productive
  • This role requires availability duringUS Eastern or Central Time business hours
  • High-ownership role embedded inside an IT team building real infrastructure
  • Direct exposure to identity, security, compliance, and platform work without needing to be the technical expert

What You'll Work On

Project Coordination and Tracking

  • Maintain project plans, trackers, timelines, meeting notes, action items, and status updates for IT and technical workstreams
  • Lead project coordination meetings and turn discussions into clear owners, decisions, next steps, and follow-up items
  • Follow up on open items until they are resolved, reassigned, or escalated
  • Keep project boards, remediation trackers, and documentation current, organized, and easy to find
  • Learn and operate internal tools including Linear, Notion, and Slack with accuracy and speed

Stakeholder Communication and Visibility

  • Keep stakeholders aligned by communicating status, blockers, risks, dependencies, and timeline changes clearly and consistently
  • Help leadership maintain visibility into what is on track, what is blocked, and what needs attention without chasing for updates
  • Translate technical progress, decisions, and blockers into plain language for non-technical stakeholders
  • Surface blockers early with context, proposed next steps, and the specific decision or support needed
  • Escalate unclear ownership, blocked work, missed deadlines, or unresolved decisions before they create downstream confusion

Technical Workstream Support

  • Partner with engineering and IT leads to turn technical workstreams into clear project plans, timelines, owners, and next steps
  • Track dependencies, open questions, blockers, and decisions across technical stakeholders
  • Coordinate rollout communication for technical implementations, migrations, vendor changes, security updates, and internal platform changes
  • Document technical decisions and tradeoffs in plain language with input from the technical owner
  • Support communication for workstreams including identity and access security hardening, endpoint and MDM rollouts, compliance readiness programs, and enterprise SSO migrations

What You Bring

  • Experience coordinating projects, workstreams, or cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong written communication skills, especially for status updates, meeting notes, action items, summaries, and follow-up messages
  • Excellent follow-through and organization with the ability to track many moving pieces without dropping details
  • Comfort working alongside technical, IT, operations, or systems-focused teams without needing to own the technical solution
  • Ability to follow technical conversations, ask clarifying questions, and document them accurately
  • Good judgment around when to ask questions, when to follow up, and when to escalate
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and structure often needs to be created rather than inherited
  • Coachable and receptive to feedback with the ability to adjust quickly based on team needs
  • Experience building your own systems and driving work without a formal playbook; candidates from large, highly structured organizations with formal training programs may find the pace of this role difficult

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting IT, security, compliance, infrastructure, identity and access, device management, internal platform, or vendor implementation projects
  • Familiarity with tools such as Linear, Notion,Monday.com, or similar project management platforms
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or HIPAA
  • Background in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment

How to Apply

Please include:

  1. Yourupdated resume
  2. Ashort Loom video (1 to 2 minutes) introducing yourself, walking through a technical or cross-functional project you coordinated end to end, and explaining how you kept stakeholders aligned and open items from falling through the cracks

Only candidates who submit a Loom video will be moved to the next step of the hiring process.

If you are organized, clear in your communication, and take ownership of keeping complex work on track without being the technical expert, this role gives you the scope and the direct impact to do your best work.
