🔹 What We’re Looking For:

✅ Native-level proficiency inJapanese

✅ Strong command ofSimplified Chinese and English

✅ Deeppassion for gaming and familiarity with gaming terminology

✅ Minimum3 years of experience in gaming localization (Simplified Chinese>Japanese)

✅ Expertise inAdventure, Strategy, and Fantasy games

✅ Skilled in CAT tools (preferably in memoQ)

✅ Detail-oriented with excellent grammar, spelling, and terminology skills

✅ Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, creative environment

🔹Important information:

📌This is a contract-based opportunity.

📌Competitive compensation based on experience.

📌As a mandatory requirement, you must have the right to work in Tokyo. You will be required to provide supporting documentation.

📌This is an onsite position. You are required to work onsite during core business hours (Mon – Fri, 8 hours per day) at our office in Tokyo. So you shall be based in the Tokyo area or you are within commuting distance to our office.

📌1 day PTO per month, social insurance and transportation fees covered (max 30,000 JPY/month)

🔹 Minimum Requirements (Must meet ONE of the following):

📌 ADegree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training)

📌 3+ years of translation experience + a college degree

📌5+ years of translation experience (no degree required)

📌A translation certification issued by an appropriate government body
