About the Role
We are seeking aTelecommunications Payload System Engineer to support the design, integration, and testing of advanced satellite communications payloads. In this role, you will work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop and validate digital telecommunications systems, contribute to subsystem integration and testing, and support the delivery of next-generation satellite payload solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in telecommunications engineering, RF systems, and satellite communications, with a passion for solving complex technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, integration, and testing of satellite telecommunications payload systems.
- Contribute to the development and validation of digital communications architectures.
- Perform subsystem testing, analysis, and troubleshooting to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, software, and integration teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Assist in requirements analysis, system verification, and technical documentation.
- Analyze test results and support continuous improvement of payload performance.
- Prepare engineering documentation, reports, and technical presentations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree inElectrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 2ā5 years of experience inspace systems, satellite communications, or a related engineering discipline.
- Foundational knowledge of:
- Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
- RF Systems
- Telecommunications Architectures
- Experience with testing satellite subsystems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting satellite payload development, integration, or verification activities.
- Familiarity with digital communications, RF testing, and systems engineering principles.
- Experience working in aerospace, satellite communications, or telecommunications environments.
- Knowledge of satellite payload architectures and subsystem integration.
