Role Overview

We are looking for aProduct Engineer to join our Product Management team. This role will serve as a key link between Product Management, R&D, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing, ensuring the successful industrialization, cost optimization, and lifecycle management of our products.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in transforming product designs into manufacturable solutions, supporting industrial costing activities, and driving continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle. This position will also contribute to the TDCIS project while supporting Product Management and Commercial teams in product costing and quotation activities.

What You’ll Do

  • Support theindustrialization of new products, ensuring a smooth transition from development to manufacturing through Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.

  • Develop, maintain, and manageproduct structures, including article coding and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within ERP/PLM systems.

  • Calculate, monitor, and optimize industrial product costs, identifying value engineering opportunities to improve efficiency and competitiveness.

  • Coordinate engineering change management processes and maintain accurate product documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Monitor product reliability and component obsolescence, supporting risk mitigation and long-term product sustainability.

  • Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, and R&D teams to support production activities, component qualification, and continuous product improvement.

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a related field.

  • Previous experience in Product Engineering, Industrialization, New Product Introduction (NPI), or similar roles.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, product lifecycle management, and industrial cost analysis.

  • Experience working with ERP and/or PLM systems.

  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, electronic schematics, and mechanical drawings.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.

  • A proactive mindset and a continuous improvement approach.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Previous experience in similar Product Engineering, Product Management, or Industrial Engineering roles.

  • Experience working with product lifecycle management processes.

  • Familiarity with industrial cost calculation methodologies.

  • Exposure to electronics manufacturing, defence, telecommunications, or other high-tech industries.
