Help Desk Technician

Overview:
Vantage Point Consulting is seeking aHelp Desk Technician to support our client's Hackensack, New Jersey office. The ideal candidate will be an experienced IT support professional with strong customer service skills and a background in hardware, software, and user support within a professional environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and provide hands-on technology support in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and mobile devices.
• Support and troubleshoot video conferences usingMicrosoft Teams andZoom.
• Maintain and track IT equipment inventory.
• Document support activity and resolutions in the Firm's ticketing system.
• Follow established help desk procedures and maintain strong documentation discipline.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and effective problem resolution.
• Periodically travel to other firm offices to provide onsite support.
• Participate in office buildouts and expansions as needed.
• Provide occasional shift coverage or extended hours support when required.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency inMicrosoft Windows 11 andMicrosoft 365, particularlyOutlook andWord.
• Experience withiManage document management system strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Prior experience in alaw firm orprofessional services environment preferred.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree inInformation Systems,Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.
