Research Manager (Qual/Mixed Methods, Communities) - £40-47k - Hybrid

Salary: £40–47k
Location: London (hybrid, 3 days in office)

Are you a qualitative researcher looking for a role with greater variety, client exposure and scope to develop? Our client, a well-established insights agency, is hiring a Research Manager to join a specialist qualitative and communities team.

This is a hands-on role working across strategic qualitative research, long-term online communities and mixed-method projects. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across disciplines, delivering insight-led work for major international clients across FMCG, retail, financial services and more.

Key responsibilities
• Leading end-to-end research projects across qual and mixed methods
• Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
• Designing discussion guides, questionnaires and screeners
• Moderating groups, interviews and community activities
• Overseeing project delivery, timelines and budgets
• Supporting proposals and contributing to business development
• Mentoring junior team members

About you
• Strong qualitative research experience
• Confident moderating and managing clients
• Commercially aware and well organised
• Experience in quantitative thinking (e.g. questionnaire design, data interpretation)
• Interested in developing skills across communities and mixed methods
