Job Purpose Statement
This paid internship offers an opportunity to support the North America strategy team by providing valuable insights through data analysis and competitive research in the home appliance industry. The intern will assist in preparing reports and presentations, contributing to key strategic documents that support the company's value creation plan. By collaborating with business units and departments, the intern will gain valuable hands-on experience while helping the organization drive innovation and enhance its market position. The assignment can be up to one (1) year.

Head of Strategy, Region North America

Job Functions

Utilize PowerBI and Excel for data analysis and report updates.

Compile competitive intelligence reports to evaluate competitors' strengths, weaknesses, and market positions.
•    
Prepare presentations to effectively communicate competitive insights.
•    
Lead comprehensive analyses, including market sizing and business model evaluations.
•    
Contribute to the annual strategy development process and engage in strategic discussions.
•    
Take ownership of specific topics and collaborate with the strategy team on strategic documents and presentations.
•    
Develop high-quality recommendations and deliverables for executive review.
•    
Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to create impactful deliverables.
•    
Adaptable in taking on various tasks to drive strategic initiatives forward.

Job Qualification Requirements
Specific Knowledge:

Basic Knowledge of Home Appliance Industry

Data Analysis & Reporting experience
•    
Business Management knowledge
•    
Familiarity with Strategic Planning Frameworks
•    
Advanced MS-Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) for data manipulation and reporting

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

Analytical mindset with a desire to constantly learn, improve and innovate

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Project management skills to manage multiple projects effectively.

Basic understanding of market research methods for consumer insights.

Educational Requirements
Attending UCI - Education/Certificate Required   
Four-Year College - Required

Required Experience:
Years of Experience  2-5 Years
Data Analysis, Business Management - Preferred
